El Gordo y el Flaco are El Lolailo and el Domi. We play the rumbas everybody sings along to, from the Gipsy Kings to Peret, with the drive of gypsy rumba and the flavour of Catalan rumba.
Our moment is when the party takes off: when people get up and never sit back down.

“Himno de COPEL” is a rumba by La banda Covid de la Taverna Pirata, a band El Lolailo and el Domi were part of alongside other musicians. It features on the soundtrack of the short film Pocos, buenos y seguros (Ales Payá and Gorka Lasaosa, 2022), the story of an ordinary prisoner in Spain's jails at the end of the dictatorship.
The film's music won Best Music in the official short film section of the 31st Madrid Film Festival.

What you ask us.
How long is the show?
Up to two 45-minute sets. We can also play shorter shows: we adapt to the pace of your party.
Do you bring your own sound system?
Yes, we bring our own sound system, suitable for parties of up to 150 people. For bigger events, get in touch.
What do you need at the venue?
Just a power socket near where we'll play. We take care of everything else.
How long does setup take?
One hour. We arrive early so everything is ready before we start.
Where do you play?
All over Catalonia and southern France (Roussillon and Occitanie). Ask us about other areas.
Can we request a song?
Of course. If there's a special song for you, let us know in advance and we'll prepare it.
